Dr. Jan Hoffman specializes in endocrinology and has made it his mission to help patients regulate their diabetes and other diagnoses (parathyroid problems, high cholesterol, low testosterone, obesity, polycystic ovary syndrome and thyroid disease) through education and management.
He grew up in Los Angeles, but has lived in Wichita for more than 25 years, and was even voted one of the Best Doctors in Wichita 2009-14 before moving his practice to Newton. He’s also a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology.
Dr. Hoffman loves to watch his patients’ health improve with treatment, as well as stay ahead of all the exciting developments in the field of endocrinology. He chose to become a doctor after taking a biology class in high school. Looking up to his family doctor, he had a great role model in the field of medicine.
He attended an undergraduate program at UCLA, went to University of Maryland for medical school and went through the residency program at LA County-USC Medical Center in Los Angeles. Today, he volunteers to be a mentor for physician’s assistant students at Wichita State University.
