If you’re caught off guard by your injury or illness and your family doctor isn’t available, NMC Health | Immediate Care is an affordable, flexible, and convenient alternative to long wait times and expensive care.

For the cost of a regular office visit, you can be seen for many minor emergency and illness needs. From flu symptoms, fevers and ear aches or eye pain to bumps and bruises and bug bites, our Immediate Care clinic is here for you when you need us most with convenient care options.

You don’t have to make an appointment at our walk-in clinic in Newton. Just show up with your insurance card and valid photo ID to get the same trusted care you’re used to from NMC Health. See wait times and get in line here.

If you’re experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please call ahead and let us know you’re coming so we can get you right into a patient room when you arrive.

NMC Health’s Immediate Care Clinic does offer COVID-19 testing. We are not a free testing site; all patients will be required to provide insurance information and pay accordingly at the time of service. 

Please seek emergency care if you or a loved one are experiencing any of the following potentially life-threatening conditions:

  • Chest pain
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Stroke symptoms
  • Head trauma
  • Broken bones
 
NMC Health | Immediate Care does not see patients under 6 months of age. If you think your baby may need medical care, call your pediatrician or family doctor to learn the best course of action. Some conditions that are not life-threatening for older children and adults could be fatal for infants. Your doctor may recommend a trip to the Emergency Room if they believe advanced medical care is needed.
If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or visit the NMC Health Medical Center Emergency Department.

Emergency Care
