Thank you for choosing NMC Health for your care. When it comes to paying for medical care, NMC Health wants to make the process easy for you. We’re here to help.

If you’re covered by an insurance plan that is accepted at NMC Health, then we will file your insurance claim for you.

Because of special requirements by insurance companies and frequent changes in those requirements, we have to have an updated copy of your insurance card on file.

We will ask your insurance provider to send payment directly to NMC Health, allowing your provider time to process the claim and pay your bill.

Insurance Requirements

Please understand you are responsible for meeting any special requirements of your insurance plan. Getting a second opinion, getting approval before going to the emergency room or being hospitalized may be a requirement of your insurance provider.

Most insurances with this requirement have special steps that must be followed unless you are seeking treatment for a life-threatening condition. Your doctor is responsible for sending referral forms to your insurance company. In most cases, the hospital is not allowed to provide referral documents.
