We are currently seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for our Respiratory Therapy department.  In this role, you will be responsible for independently performing respiratory care procedures, which requires the ability to interpret physician orders, assess patient needs, deliver prescribed therapy and evaluate patient response.  You will have opportunity to provide invasive procedures that may be performed with minimal supervision and minor assistance in patient care units and critical care areas.  Furthermore, on a daily basis, you will serve in a consulting role by communicating suggestions to other members of the clinical team regarding respiratory care delivered to patients in all areas of the hospital.  Your quick thinking and flexibility will be key as you respond promptly to changes in workload and adjustments in assignments as needed to achieve optimal productivity, efficacy and quality patient care.  If you are a healthcare professional with this experience, who makes the health and happiness of your patients a top priority, if you’re a team player with track record of providing exemplary care, we invite you to become a part of a positive, upbeat work environment where you can expect to be heard, where you are positioned as a valued professional on the team, where we allow for career growth and above all, improve health!

This is a PT night shift position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and experience:

• Graduation from accredited school of Respiratory Therapy, RRT credential
• Minimum of 2 years working in a health care setting as an RT

Licensure, registration and certification:

• Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the Kansas State of Board of Healing Arts
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS
