The Registered RT, CT Technologist is a professional who works under the supervision of the Imaging Department Director to provide quality care that is focused on the comfort and wellbeing of the patient and family. This position requires a customer service-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills for the purpose of delivering care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups. Independent decision making is expected in the execution of all duties. May be assigned to be in charge of a modality and able to delegate patient care assignments and duties based on the ability of co-workers. Must strive to maintain professional standards of Radiologic Technology which include utilizing clinical skills and critical thinking to access, plan, provide, delegate, supervise, manage and evaluate patient care.

Expectation to perform in both the RT and CT role within the department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

• Minimum Associate’s degree
• 1 year or more preferred working as a CT Tech
• Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program

Licensure, Registration or Certification:

• Registered by ARRT in Radiologic Technology
• Kansas Licensure for Radiology Technologist
• BLS
• CT Registered preferred or minimum 1 year experience
