Clinical Laboratory Phlebotomist (North Amidon)

We are currently hiring a Clinical Laboratory Technician to support our Laboratory Department at our Family Medicine Clinic on North Amidon. In this role, you will play an important part in patient care by collecting and processing specimens, managing lab requests, and assisting with ECG duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and process specimens for lab testing

• Perform order entry in the lab computer system

• Verify medical necessity and handle incoming calls

• Process lab requisitions and expedite specimen delivery

• Support ECG procedures and maintain files

• Provide excellent service to patients and clinical teams

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience: 6–12 months in phlebotomy preferred

• Training: Phlebotomy training or willingness to be trained on the job

• Skills:

  • Basic computer knowledge

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Experience with lab or hospital systems is a plus

• Certification: Certified Phlebotomist preferred
