Assistant Biomed Technician

We are currently seeking an Assistant Biomed Technician for our Facilities department. We strive to find someone who has a customer service skills, has an understanding of experience in a healthcare technology setting and the ability to work as part of a team. Job details include, but are not limited to:
- Perform basic troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a variety of low-risk medical equipment under supervision
- Assist in equipment calibration, performance testing, and electrical safety testing
- Document maintenance and repair work in accordance with department policies and regulatory standards
- Maintain inventory and equipment tracking using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Respond to service calls and support clinical staff with equipment concerns
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic knowledge of electronic systems, schematics, and test equipment
- Internship or hands-on experience in a healthcare technology setting
