Newton Healthcare Corporation (dba NMC Health) is pleased to announce the appointment of its officers for the 2025-2026 term. This distinguished group of community leaders volunteer their service on the board, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to ensure the continued success and growth of NMC Health.
New Officers
- Chair: Marilyn Wilder, JD – As the Chief Judge of the 9th Judicial District of Kansas, Marilyn Wilder brings a strong legal background and dedication to justice, which will enhance the board’s decision-making processes. Her adept leadership skills will also benefit NMC Health at all levels. Wilder will serve through November 5, 2026.
- Vice-Chair: Carolyn McGinn – Co-owner of McGinn Family Farm and former Kansas Senator for the 31st District, Carolyn McGinn has been a strong voice and effective for healthcare. She provides a seasoned perspective on agricultural and legislative matters, adding depth to the board’s communication and fiscal strategies.
- Treasurer: Richard Stinnett – Currently serving as President at Business Technology Career Opportunities, Inc., Richard Stinnett is also a Newton City Commissioner and former Mayor. His expertise in business technology will be beneficial to the board’s operations.
- Secretary: Jame Copeland – As the Managing Director of Specialized Lending at INTRUST Bank, Jame Copeland provides a strong background in finance and lending, supporting the board’s financial initiatives.
- Assistant Secretary: Chris Conrade – President of Conrade Insurance, Chris Conrade’s commitment to customer-centric business and risk identification bring key skills and service perspectives to the board.
- Past Chair: Barth Hague – A committed community volunteer and former CEO of Mirror, Inc., Barth Hague has also served as a Newton City Commissioner and Mayor. His extensive experience in leadership and community service will be invaluable to the board.

- Amy Ekerberg, DVM: As a retired veterinarian and co-founder of Northridge Veterinary Clinic and Rehabilitation, Amy Ekerberg brings expertise in both business management and serving families through creation of a healing environment.
