NEWTON, Kan., (Jan. 22, 2015) – Newton Medical Center has expanded the hours of its ultrasound service, now open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. This provides an additional two hours for patient care.
“This is an exciting next step as we respond to the growing healthcare needs of our community,” said Tom Wells, Imaging Services director. “Newton Medical Center is committed to making our services more accessible to our patients and providers.”
The ultrasound service is part of NMC’s comprehensive Imaging department that provides a full-range of diagnostic testing services and interventional procedures utilizing state-of-the-art equipment.
