We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) PRN for our Senior Behavioral Health Center (SBHC) Unit.  In this role, not only will you be a valued member of our talented team of healthcare professionals, but you will also assist us in providing compassionate patient-centered care which includes the comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs, planning coordination, teaching, counseling, and direct physical care.  Additionally, in this role and a member of an interdisciplinary team you will assist other personnel by providing delegated aspects of care.  If you are a highly professional RN who is comfortable reassuring families and communicating with doctors as well as tending to the needs of your patients, we strongly encourage you to apply. This is a PRN and Day shift position.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and experience:

  • Associate degree (ADN) from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school of nursing or diploma in nursing required
  • Bachelor’s degree (BSN) from ACEN or CCNE accredited school of nursing preferred

Licensure, registration and certification:

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kansas
  • Certification in CPR/Basic Life Support
  • Recommended Certification in Advance Cardiac Life Support per unit discretion
  • Additional certifications may be necessary, dependent on the unit assigned
