We are currently seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Outpatient Therapy team. In this vital role, you’ll work directly with patients and under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help individuals recover and thrive through high-quality rehabilitation services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering physical therapy treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist.

  • Supporting patients in achieving therapy goals and improving physical function.

  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.

  • Collaborating effectively with the rehab team to ensure cohesive patient treatment.

  • Ensuring all therapy practices comply with Kansas Physical Therapy Practice Act guidelines.

As a key member of the outpatient therapy team, you will use your knowledge, communication skills, and hands-on techniques to support patients on their journey to recovery.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

  • Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience preferred in a clinical or outpatient setting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.

  • Familiarity with the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics.

  • Ability to communicate clearly within interdisciplinary teams and apply supervision techniques.

  • Competency in performing physical therapy procedures and operating therapy equipment safely.

Licensure, Registration, or Certification:

  • Must have a valid Kansas PTA License (or be eligible to obtain licensure as required by law).

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required or must be obtained immediately upon hire.
