Occupational Therapist – Park City Clinic
The Staff Occupational Therapist assumes responsibility for the daily activities of therapy services at our new outpatient clinic. This includes evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and administering occupational therapy treatments in accordance with the Kansas Occupational Therapy Practice Act.
The Occupational Therapist practices with professional autonomy while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence and patient-centered care. This role supports collaboration within the rehabilitation team to promote optimal patient outcomes.
Part-time and full-time opportunities available (Park City and Newton locations).
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans

Administer therapeutic interventions in accordance with physician orders and state practice guidelines

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and accreditation standards

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications:
Education:
-
Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE), American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and/or state licensed
Experience:
-
Preferably a minimum of one (1) year of experience
Knowledge & Skills:
-
Knowledge of the principles and practice of Occupational Therapy

Familiarity with AOTA Code of Ethics

Understanding of departmental and organizational policies and procedures

Ability to apply supervision and management techniques

Ability to apply occupational therapy theory and perform technical procedures

Competency in operating therapy equipment

Strong verbal communication and professional presentation skills
Licensure, Registration, or Certification:
-
Proof of active Occupational Therapist license required

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
