LPN Park City Clinic – PRN
As an LPN in Occupational Medicine in our Park City, KS location, you will perform general occupational medicine services to meet the needs of contracting individuals and companies. These services may include, but are not necessarily all-inclusive, drug and alcohol testing, assisting with physical examinations, and ensuring all OSHA standards are met. If you have previous work experience in this setting that included, the use of a phone and face-to-face contact with patients in a warm, efficient helpful manner we would welcome the opportunity to talk with you.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- Graduation from high school or GED required
- Basic Life Support is required
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistance program preferred
- Minimum 1- or 2-year experience with knowledge of Occupational Medicine preferred
- DOT urine collection certification and Breath Alcohol certification (can be completed w/in 90 days of hire)
- Lifting assessment competency
- Spirometry testing (Non-Certified)
- Audiology testing (Non-Certified)
Knowledge and Skills:
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public
- Abilityto carry out instructions of physicians, as well as, Office Coordinator
- Knowledge of medical office procedures a plus
Licensure and certifications:
- Medical Terminology course completed or other healthcare certifications preferred
- BLS Certification required, but can be earned post-employment
