Food Service Supervisor
The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for ensuring dietary department duties and responsibilities are fulfilled while maintaining compliance with established dietary standards. This role ensures that all patient meals meet quality, safety, and nutritional guidelines, supporting overall patient satisfaction and care.
The Food Service Supervisor works with daily food service operations, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations, efficient workflow, and high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily dietary operations to ensure meals meet established standards

Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

Monitor meal preparation, quality, and service to patients

Maintain accurate records and adherence to dietary guidelines

Manage inventory, supplies, and food service processes

Collaborate with clinical and dietary staff to support patient nutritional needs

Ensure a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment

Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education:

High school diploma required
-
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred
Experience:
-
Minimum of two (2) years of food service experience required
Knowledge & Skills:

Knowledge of food service safety and sanitation practices

Basic math skills
-
Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English

Strong organizational and leadership skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Licensure, Registration, or Certification:

ServSafe certification (or equivalent) required or willingness to obtain

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred
