We are currently seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) PRN to provide patient-centered care at our Immediate Care Clinic in Newton, KS. In this role, you’ll deliver comprehensive healthcare services in an urgent care setting with a high level of autonomy and clinical decision-making responsibility. This position involves working closely with patients and care teams to ensure high-quality, efficient treatment across a wide range of conditions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing, diagnosing, treating, and evaluating patients in an immediate care setting

  • Promoting wellness, illness prevention, and health education

  • Performing medical procedures, prescribing medications, and managing care plans

  • Collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals

  • Exercising independent judgment and clinical expertise in complex situations

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited advanced practice nursing program

  • 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of pharmacology and evidence-based practice

  • Strong communication skills with patients, staff, and community members

  • Skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning across diverse patient needs

  • Proficient in clinical procedures, documentation, and decision-making

Licensure, registration or certification:

 

  • Current Kansas APRN license in good standing

  • Current certification in CPR/Basic Life Support required
