Dr. Kadam completed his medical school and orthopedic surgery residency training at the top-rated Lokmanya Tilak Medical College & General Hospital in Mumbai, India. His desire for academic and clinical excellence motivated him to come to the United States to pursue clinical research in Orthopedic Spine surgery at the Rothman Institute & Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

He went on to complete three years of intensive clinical training in orthopedic spine surgery, in the form of fellowships, at some of the most premier academic centers on the east coast viz. Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Boston University Medical Center and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore.

His training and expertise encompass management of diverse spinal pathologies ranging from treatment of degenerative disc and spinal stenosis to osteoporotic spinal fractures and spinal trauma, adult spinal deformity and scoliosis and infections of the spine. Dr. Kadam has a special interest in Minimally invasive spine surgery and novel techniques for motion preservation like cervical disc replacements. He is well versed in state-of-the-art techniques involving spinal navigation, robotics and the use of neuromonitoring to enhance patient safety in spine surgery.

He strongly believes in following a patient centric approach to his practice, educating and empowering patients to help them make the best decisions about their own care.
