About

With a calling for pediatric, family medicine, and end-of-life care, Dr. Bryan Pierce is excited to build relationships with patients of all ages as a family medicine doctor.

Dr. Pierce’s faith inspired him to heal people and provide hope for his patients. He and his wife volunteered at a hospital in southeast Asia during the Rohingya refugee crisis.

“It was a window into despair and depravity like we have never seen before. Just seeing people at the worst parts of their lives suffering the worse horrors you have ever seen.”

The experience changed the way Dr. Pierce interacts with his patients.

“Just recognizing we have no idea some of the things people have endured when we get to meet them for the first time. So seeking first to understand and looking to have insight as to what frames a person’s life experiences and how that shapes who they are and their health.”

His wife, Shannon Pierce, PA-C, is working with him at NMC Health’s Family Medicine North Amidon in Wichita. The pair met in college.

In his spare time, Dr. Pierce enjoys spending time in his vegetable garden. His favorite hobbies are surfing and sand volleyball.
