Dr. Love provides full-scope general surgical care for patients in Newton and the surrounding communities. She earned her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency training at Brookwood Baptist Health Systems and Inova Fairfax Medical Center. Most recently, she practiced general surgery at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Southeast Kansas.
Growing up Dr. Love knew she wanted to make a difference, so tapped into her love of science and people and decided to become a surgeon. Two weeks into her surgical rotation, she found her true calling.
“I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families. I want them to leave my office knowing that their concerns have been heard. I also prioritize educating my patients so they understand the plan moving forward and why I have made the reccomendations I have.”
